Privacy Policy &
Data Protection Terms

Bromatrix Innovation Hub is dedicated to transparent data stewardship, student privacy, and rigorous hardware telemetry security across all workshops, research collaborations, and online portals.

Effective Date: October 2026 • Vimal Jyothi Engineering College, Chemperi
Section 01

1. Scope & Founding Entity

This Privacy Policy governs the operations of Bromatrix Innovation Hub (“Bromatrix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), an advanced student-founded hardware startup incubated at Vimal Jyothi Engineering College (VJEC), Chemperi, Kannur, Kerala 670632, India.

This policy applies to all personal information, organizational project data, hardware telemetry records, and workshop enrolment details submitted through our official website (bromatrix.com), our Google Forms registration pipelines, institutional partnerships, and hands-on bootcamps.

Section 02

2. Information We Collect

We only collect data necessary to provide our engineering training, laboratory establishments, and hardware R&D services:

  • Direct Enquiries & Workshop Registrations: Name, academic or institutional email address, telephone/WhatsApp contact number, affiliated college or school, current year/semester of study, and technical interests.
  • Scope & Program Estimator Inputs: Selected engineering disciplines (IoT, Drones, CAD, Robotics), estimated cohort sizes, and custom timeline parameters submitted via our interactive calculator.
  • Hardware & R&D Project Briefs: Technical specifications, CAD dimensions, schematic requirements, and bill-of-materials submitted by institutional departments or research clients.
  • Automated Server Log Data: Non-personally identifiable technical information such as browser type, operating system, IP address, and timestamp strictly for server performance, DDoS mitigation, and diagnostic monitoring.
Section 03

3. How We Use Your Information

Collected information is processed strictly for the legitimate operational objectives of Bromatrix:

  • Organizing and administering immersive multi-day bootcamps (e.g., our 10-Day Hardware Bootcamp Journey).
  • Allocating microcontrollers, drone testbench kits, component breadboards, and lab safety slots.
  • Verifying attendance and issuing official capstone certificates with tamper-proof credential IDs.
  • Communicating essential schedule updates, toolchain download instructions, and emergency lab notices via WhatsApp or email.
  • Providing custom engineering consultations and formal budgetary proposals for college laboratory setups.
Section 04

4. Hardware Telemetry & Cloud Security Standards

As a deep-tech hardware startup working with IoT sensor networks and autonomous aerial robotics:

  • Telemetry Confidentiality: Sensor telemetry captured on student lab benches (ADC readouts, IMU gyro metrics, MQTT telemetry feeds) is streamed over TLS 1.3 secured broker connections and isolated in sandbox environments.
  • Zero Remote Camera Surveillance: Drone vision sensors and FPV camera feeds used in technical arena trials are processed locally on onboard flight stacks and are never broadcast or archived without explicit participant and institutional consent.
  • Fail-Safe Avionics: All UAV flight firmware incorporates GPS return-to-home (RTH) autonomous failsafes and physical kill-switch cutoffs to ensure human safety and physical asset security.
Section 05

5. Student Ethics, Minors & Event Photography

Bromatrix takes the privacy of student innovators seriously:

  • Minors: For high-school or junior college participants under 18 years of age, workshop registrations must be sanctioned by an authorized school coordinator, faculty mentor, or parent/guardian.
  • Lab & Arena Photography: Photographs and video clips taken during tech-fests, championship showcases (such as our AJEC podium victory), or workshop graduations are recorded with collegiate permission to celebrate engineering excellence. If any student or mentor desires their image removed from public galleries, a single email to our technical team will prompt immediate removal.
Section 06

6. Third-Party Integrations & Infrastructure

Bromatrix relies on enterprise-grade infrastructure to safely process operational workflows:

  • Google Workspace & Google Forms: Contact submissions and cohort booking entries are encrypted in transit and securely ingested directly into Bromatrix's administrative Google cloud infrastructure.
  • CDN & Font Assets: High-performance static libraries (Google Fonts, Font Awesome, Three.js) are fetched through reliable global content delivery networks.
  • GitHub Repositories: Code templates, firmware sketches, and technical documentation shared with bootcamp participants are distributed via verified GitHub organization repositories.
Section 07

7. Terms of Service & Intellectual Property

By engaging with Bromatrix, participants and institutional partners agree to the following terms:

  • Proprietary Curriculum: Course outlines, 3D parametric CAD models, PCB designs, and custom firmware algorithms engineered by Bromatrix are protected intellectual property. They may be utilized freely by registered students for personal learning and portfolio display, but cannot be resold or white-labeled commercially without written authorization.
  • Lab Safety Compliance: All students participating in physical soldering, LiPo high-current battery testing, and rotating brushless motor trials must strictly adhere to Bromatrix laboratory safety protocols.
  • Custom Client R&D: Bespoke hardware engineering, patentable innovations, and institutional prototypes developed under bilateral contracts remain the exclusive proprietary property of the respective commissioning partner as specified in individual agreements.
Section 08
